To encourage the farmers towards crop diversification, theย Department of Horticulture Punjabย &ย Government of Punjabย organized a State Level Horticulture Fair on December 10 at IKGPTU, District Kapurthala. Rana Gurjeet Singh, Punjab Horticulture and Technical Education Minister released Special Punjab Issue ofย Just Agriculture- the magazineย & appreciated this initiative by covering the success stories of Progressive Farmers in magazine to motivate the farmers across the state towards cropย diversificationย to make agriculture a profitable business would prove to be a milestone.
Besides this Smt. Seema Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Horticulture Department, Punjab & IAS Gagandeep Brar, Secretary Horticulture, Punjab were also theย Guestsย of this Grand Event. The Event was organized by Dr. Shailender Kaur (IFS), Director Horticulture, Punjab & Dr. Jaspal Singh & Dr. Jagdev Singh, Joint Director, Horticultureย Punjabย and the technical experts of Horticulture Department from all over the state participated and experts of Punjab Agricultural University also shared their views.ย
